Animatus is the name of a series of installations by Korean artist Hyungkoo Lee. Based in Seoul, he takes imaginary animals with fantasy to create false skeletons in resin.

These are wonderfully hilarious, but it’s important to remember that they are influenced by actual animal physiology. Lee uses a combination of real animal bones and synthetic structures to build them.
